cynthia davis -the most excellent teacher ever...her line of wallovers stencils is brilliant.

sunny goode - terrific books, stencils, glazes!http://www.sunnys-paint.com/paint-shop.html

stampland - wonderful vintage images to use on everything.

anthropologie - my favorite for everything, especially great hardware

look in the attic - don’t be scared! look here for vintage hardware for that great piece of furniture from your attic that i’m working on.

chandelier parts - replacement crystals and danglies to renew your fixtures (after i’ve gessoed and gold-leafed them for you, of course!)

john derian dry goods - john’s decoupage work is incredible. click on "imports" for work by hugo guiness, one of my very favorite artists.

hamlett dobbins - i love hamlett’s work, and his beautiful family.

julia d. azar designs - super-talented julie’s paper products are the prettiest. she’s working on a beautiful book...check my journal for the release date.

art school girl - amy rowan’s work is so creative and clever, you just have to peek. (plus she’s a chicagoan!) i heart art school girl.

shifting light - julian merrow-smith’s "postcard" paintings are gorgeous, and auctioned daily...just please don’t bid against me for a still life with eggs in it.

memphis college of art - click on the memphis college of art’s "community education" for classes...i’ll see you at school!

the sartorialist - scott schuman's photographs are lovely, instructive, and so inspiring.

if you’re going to chicago (my hometown) check these sites first, then plan to visit my friends and favorites there:

portals gallery,  art effect,  lori's shoes,  chicago architecture foundation,  millenium park

sally walker davies - before you leave the house to travel or shop, check sally’s site for the inside track on just about everything. she knows all the fun places and great finds.

and if you're coming to memphis, don't miss a chance to visit to selena mcadams's dreamy and perfectly edited shop, spruce.
